Trade and Climate Change Summer School

Through a mix of lectures, interactive seminars, and exercise sessions, participants explored the latest trends and recent work in the active research field on trade and climate change in Perugia (Italy) from 15-19 July, 2024. Topics covered in depth included carbon leakage and countermeasures; the use quantitative trade models in the context of environmental policies and shocks; innovation and the diffusion of green technology; the energy, green and circular economy transition; and unintended and intended trade impacts of climate policies. The summer school presented a unique opportunity to enhance your expertise and engage with peers from diverse backgrounds.

Participants were expected to have prior experience or training in economics, political science, or law, with an exposure to trade or environmental topics.
